I work with a wide range of clients to provide specific solutions that work for various age groups, family dynamics and lifestyle preferences.

Below are the three key areas of focus within my practice:

FAMILY NUTRITION

I work with many families, where we focus on developing healthy food relationships within the home. I guide parents on healthy eating for children of all ages, and offer special nutritional plans for adolescents too, including adolescent athletes.

SPORTS NUTRITION

I work with together with athletes of various sporting specialities to formulate sport’s training guides, and race day strategies.

I also offer sessions for body composition assessments.

MEDICAL NUTRITION

I work with patients, referred by their doctors, to assist in guiding and obtaining a healthier lifestyle and eating plan specific to their medical needs. Our focus is to change unhealthy habits and reduce risk.

I was training but remaining the size of a couch a potato. Ms Med(iterranean eating plan/Keri) helped me devise a plan to achieve the full benefits of following a sensible eating plan without changing my lifestyle or starving myself. The results were amazing and contributed hugely to a very enjoyable IronMan and my best Comrades Marathon ever

I admitted that I was an emotional eater so my Biokineticist recommended Keri. Because I ate once a day and that was the “whole” day I needed ideas and structure. During our first consultation that was a hour we analyse my habits, lifestyle, goals and food preferences. As Keri explain to me that  she is not giving me a diet, but it is going to be a new way of life. I loved that phrase! We need to have colourful food on our plates, variation and need to take time to plan our meals ahead.

As Keri explain by eating the correct foods (fats, carbs, protein and veggies) you don’t need to eat in between and you will sustain your energy levels. I could feel the difference within the first couple of days. She motivated me and gave me a meal plan for a week with lots of options. So I was ready to go! I lost average of 500g per week and she was happy with my progress. I’m so thankful for her professional help, patience, motivation and always being available to assist.

I saw Keri Strachan because as a result of a bad back problem, I needed to lose weight. She very cleverly, and carefully, worked out an eating plan for me which I began in August. I am delighted too say that by following her plan, I am now at my second goal of losing 15 kg after 3 months.

I am never hungry and have completely changed my eating regime. I do not miss the foods that I used to eat and believe that because she took a sensible and scientific approach to the process, I will continue to eat this way going forward.

I have just turned 70 and do not intend to eat any differently for the rest of my days. I recommend Keri highly. She is gentle, definite and experienced and follows a very scientific path.
